Oil Temp Sensor Location

Looking for some help on the location of the oil temp sensor.

The oil temperature is a vital part to keeping your engine running smoothly. I have a 2016 gu813 with a mp7. Thermometrics oil temperature sensor ots monitors the temperature of the engine oil in a vehicle and displays this measurement to the vehicle s occupants. According to there system it says coolant oil temp sensor but when they gave me the part number everywhere shows it s just a coolant sen.

The oil temperature should be a few degrees warmer than the coolant. If the oil temperature is too high problems can arise. So if you re looking for the connector it will be a 2 wire connector with a yellow green wire oil temp sensor and a gray wire reverse shift switch. When you first start your vehicle on cold mornings let the car idle for about five minutes until the oil gets a chance to warm up.

If a vehicle operates at too high a temperature the engine can be in danger of damage. It appears that the oil temp sensor shares a connector with the reverse shift switch and the reverse shift switch has a gray wire running to it.
